Working with a team from Western Sydney University School of Education, the Pymble Institute has established a baseline for future research and innovation in the College’s outdoor education program at Vision Valley.
Assessing the Impact of the Vision Valley Residential Program Pilot Initiative uses quantitative and qualitative data from the first two cohorts to participate in the Year 9 residential program by focusing on students’ sense of belonging, academic buoyancy and resilience.
This rich collection of data tells a story which is useful for both students and parents preparing for the program, and for the Pymble team as they continue to extend and improve the impact of the experience.
