Dance has been an integral part of Lisa's life, helping her express herself, stay disciplined and explore the limits of creativity. In her 11 years with Pymble's Dance program, she developed a deeper understanding of dance as an art form, using "emotion, personality and passion" to communicate with her audience.

At our end of year Staff Day in December, we were thrilled to recognise staff who exemplify Pymble values and make an exceptional contribution in their every day roles at our bi-annual Living Our Values Everyday (L.O.V.E) Awards ceremony.
Congratulations to K-6 Classroom Teacher, Rosie Prince, who received a L.O.V.E Award.
Rosie goes above and beyond to find connections with each student in her care and empower them to be themselves. In moments when students find situations overwhelming Rosie embodies endless patience, calm and kindness. Rosie led the initiative of choose your own wellbeing adventure within Year 5, empowering the girls to select activities that suit their needs as social, emotional learners. Rosie finds the joy in the little things and brings heart to all she does.
Congratulations, Rosie!

When you hear about young athletes excelling in sport, the story usually begins with 'love at first sight'. For Mia and rowing, however, it was the complete opposite. She may not have liked the sport in those first few months, but six years later her passion and dedication for rowing have earned her a scholarship to the Univeristy of Massachusetts.

Throughout the year, 254 Year 9 Pymble students completed the Vision Valley Residential program, and in Term 4 our Residential group was joined by four students and one teacher from Milingimbi School in Northeast Arnhem Land (Pymble’s partner school through the Yadha Muru Foundation).
This significant cultural exchange has enabled the students from both schools to lead, share and learn from each other; enjoying experiences that extend student comfort zones, build friendships and intercultural understanding, including exposure to First Nations language.
