Practicums and Internships

Pymble Ladies’ College provides a variety of internships and teacher placements for students studying either a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching qualifications.  

We welcome applications from high-quality candidates who are eager to learn and work in a collaborative, innovative and dynamic environment which values personal excellence.  
   

Teacher Placements  

We offer teaching students opportunities to shadow and be mentored by highly experienced teachers, with exposure to multiple disciplines within learning areas in the Secondary and Junior School.  
   

Internships  

Interships are available to exceptional education students, who are eligible for conditional accreditation, in their final year of study.  

Interns are mentored by highly experienced teachers who support and guide their development as they take on the responsibilities of their teaching load. Interns have access to the College’s resources and expertise to support them in completing their study.  

Successful interns may be offered permanent contracts at the end of their internship.
